How does BladeHOST renewal pricing work?
BladeHOST does not use an artificially cheap first year followed by a deliberately inflated renewal margin. Registry or supplier costs can change, so the final price may change over time.
Can I transfer my domain away from BladeHOST?
Yes. Your domain remains under your control and can be transferred away using the appropriate authorisation process for the extension.
Will transferring a domain move my website?
No. A registrar transfer does not automatically move website hosting. Keep the same nameservers and your site can continue to point to the same host.
Can I manage DNS and nameservers?
Yes. BladeHOST customers can manage the domain settings needed to point domains at hosting, email and other services.
Are domain registrations refundable?
Domain registrations are normally processed immediately and are generally non-refundable once registered.
What happens when a domain expires?
Expiry and recovery rules vary by registry and extension. Renew before the expiry date wherever possible to avoid interruption, recovery fees or loss of the domain.
Does BladeHOST offer automatic renewal?
The account system supports renewal management. Check your account settings and renewal notices so domains are renewed before expiry.
What is an authorisation code?
An authorisation code, sometimes called an EPP code or transfer password, is used by many extensions to approve a move between registrars.
